Facilivate Co. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website and services.
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide:
- Name, email address, phone number, and project details (type of remodel/repair, budget, timeline, location)
- Availability for contractor visits
Automatically Collected Information:
- IP address, browser type, device information, and usage data
- Cookies and similar technologies for site functionality and analytics
Address Information:
- We collect your full address only when necessary for scheduling visits. It is not shared with contractors until you explicitly approve a specific visit.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide quote coordination and review services
- To schedule contractor visits based on your availability
- To deliver professional reviews and project updates
- To communicate with you about your project
- To improve our services and website
- For legal compliance and fraud prevention
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Information Sharing
We may share your information with:
- Vetted contractors only after you approve a specific visit (your address is not shared until then)
- Service providers who help us operate the platform — hosting and infrastructure, payment processing, and email delivery — under confidentiality obligations, and only as far as running the service requires
- Anthropic, which provides the AI behind several features. What we send depends on which one you use: the text of your Hammer Helper chat, so the AI can reply and write a short project brief; what you type into contractor search, so it can be turned into a trade and a location; the quote text or photo, and any context you add, that you submit to the free quote review; and, if you are a contractor using our portal, the credential documents and quote documents you upload, along with the project brief for the job you are quoting. What we keep differs by feature. We do not store free quote-review submissions — we keep no copy in our database or file storage, and we do not log their contents. Search wording is not stored either. We do not keep your chat itself; if you complete a purchase, we save the brief written from it — or, if that summary does not come back in time, the chat text you typed — as your project description. Documents you upload to the contractor portal are stored: those files are held in our private file storage, and the AI’s notes on them are saved for our team to review. Anthropic applies its own retention to everything it receives, which is governed by the Anthropic Privacy Policy rather than ours
- Google, which provides the contractor search results shown on our site. Google’s handling of that data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
- Law enforcement or regulators when required by law
When you approve a contractor’s visit, we share your name, phone number, and email address with that contractor so the two of you can coordinate, and we share their contact details with you. Nothing is shared before you approve, and no other contractor receives them.
4. Data Security
We use reasonable security measures to protect your information. However, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Your Rights
You may:
- Request access to or deletion of your personal information
- Opt out of marketing communications
- Withdraw consent where applicable

6. Children’s Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
